NECCO (New England Confectionery Company, Inc.)

The history of NECCO dates back to the summer of 1847, making NECCO the oldest multi-line candy company in the United States. NECCO’s headquarters in Revere, MA, manufactures timeless candy classics such as NECCO Wafers, Sweethearts Conversation Hearts, Clark Bars, Mighty Malts, Haviland Thin Mints, Candy House Candy Buttons and Squirrel Nut Zippers.

Clark Bar

Irish immigrant David L. Clark founded the D.L. Clark Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1886. Quickly becoming known as an innovator in the world of chocolaty confections, the company made its first big splash when individually wrapped Clark Bars became a huge hit with American troops stationed overseas during World War I.
